I LOVE these books! I've actually done an "-Ish" art gallery with my kids. First they wrote about a connection they had, then they made their own -ish drawing (labeled it of course) and they crumpled it up...and then we hung them! They loved it!
LOVE the simplicity and power of the Reynolds books! I saw your comments on Primary Graffiti and wanted to send my wish for blessings as you nest for your baby. What a special time indeed! Oh, and I'm a WI graduate, so I'm glued to the tube as we attempt to catch up.
Welcome! I am in my second year of teaching. I teach first grade. I taught second grade last year. I am currently on bed rest due to pregnancy, and I'm missing my kiddos like crazy.

ReplyDeleteAwesome idea! I read The Dot several times to my 2nd graders last year. It became a couple of my students' favorite soon after.
